In the kitchen
In the kitchen of a snack bar, there are mainly (warm) fats present, so you need an ABF foam-fat fire extinguisher. These special wet chemical fire extinguishers are extremely efficient in fighting fires in the kitchen.
Fire blankets are also indispensable in a restaurant kitchen. Fire blankets are an ideal supplement to your ABF foam fat extinguishers. In a snack bar kitchen you need both a fire blanket and ABF fire extinguishers. Fire blankets are ideal for keeping starting fires under control.

The dining room
In the dining room we recommend 1 6l foam extinguisher (depending on the surface area, at least 1 per 150m² and per floor). This fire extinguisher protects you against fires with solids (napkins, paper trays, ...). It is also easy to clean up the foam afterwards.
Don't forget to attach a fire extinguisher pictogram above the fire extinguisher. This is mandatory. The pictograms indicating the (emergency) exit are also a must. A successful evacuation starts with a good indication!
